The first Broadbottom History Exhibition took place over the weekend of the 18 to 20 May in the Community Centre, sponsored by the Broadbottom Community Association, and with a generous grant from the Longdendale & Hattersley District Assembly. Researched by Mollie Sayer and the History Team, the show was a great success with over 300 visitors.

 The exhibition covered Broadbottom's history from the 1790s to the 1970s.

It is hoped that a book on the subject will be available next year and that the contents of the exhibition will loaded onto the Village Website in the near future.
